His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence in healthcare, including projects in cervical cancer screening, cardio-oncology, genetic variant interpretation, intensive care treatment recommendation, and urology screening. He has published peer-reviewed papers in medical AI, including novel methods for genetic variant classification, and actively collaborates with hospitals, industry partners, and international institutions. He has led several nationally funded projects and contributed to the development of AI-based prototypes integrated into web and mobile applications for real clinical use.

Holding a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a postdoctoral fellowship from Harvard Medical School, his career spans roles in genetic testing quality assessment, and national genomics science initiatives in Indonesia. Utomo’s primary genetic research interests focus on validating predictive and prognostic biomarkers via genomic and epigenomic profiling of cancers like breast, lung, and colorectal in young Indonesian patients, alongside developing in vitro diagnostic kits for detecting genetic variations in oncology and infectious diseases, as evidenced by his patent on RAS gene mutation detection, contributions to books on carcinogenesis, and over 30 international publications on mutations, DNA methylation, and viral genomics.

Dean of Faculty of Information Technology Universitas YARSI. She holds a B.Sc. from Informatics Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology and holds a M.Sc. from Magister of Information Technology, University of Indonesia. Holds a doctoral degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. She got a Sandwich Program Scholarship during her postgraduate at Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE) University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. She is a Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, YARSI University, Jakarta, Indonesia. Her main research interests are Artificial Intelligence in Health, e-Government, High Performance Computing, Data Mining, Human Computer Interaction, and Social Network Analysis. She has won some research grants on e-Health, e-Commerce, e-Learning, e-Government, Visualization, and Social Network Analysis.
