On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, a meeting was held between the SenusaBio team and the Stem Cell and Cancer Research (SCCR) Indonesia in Semarang, attended by the Head of R&D SCCR, Dr. Dendi Krisna Nugraha, along with the research team.
This event aimed to introduce and provide a direct demonstration of the SenusaBio platform, the pioneer and the only locally developed automated genomic interpretation software in Indonesia, designed to support genomic data analysis and interpretation powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
The agenda consisted of two main sessions:
Introduction to the SenusaBio Platform – an overview of the platform’s features, advantages, and potential applications in supporting genomic research and diagnostics across various research and healthcare institutions.
Practical / Hands-on Session with SenusaBio – an interactive session where participants had the opportunity to try the platform firsthand, understand the workflow, and explore variant analysis features integrated with international databases such as ClinVar and Ensembl.
The meeting proceeded smoothly and interactively, accompanied by constructive discussions on potential research collaborations and the development of more specialized features to support stem cell and cancer research in Indonesia.
Through this engagement, it is expected that a strategic collaboration between SenusaBio and SCCR Indonesia in Semarang will be established to strengthen the national bioinformatics and genomics ecosystem through locally driven innovation.
